INTRODUCTION

After two years of removing debris, rebuilding, and renovating, Mist Harbor was proud to announce the re-opening of the Eastern Harbor and proposed a celebration of the momentous occasion with a full-blown street festival!

Eastern Harbor Map - Copyright @ Simutronics 2010

This was designed to be fun for all ages, races, and creeds, the street festival highlights the fun, carefree life of the island. The festival was scheduled to take place over a two-week period, from the 15th of Phoenatos through the 30th [August 15th to 30th]. The chairman of the festival, Lady Ilsola, had stated her intention to roam the streets and be available for conversations during the festival.

This was one festival in which I fully intended to participate.

This is a log of the festival activities from my perspective. It is written in chronological order. However links to the main highlights are provided below if you want to skip to specific sections.

MERCHANT RATING

I have rated each merchant - from whom work was received - out of 5 based on positive interaction (Positive interaction relates not to how I felt about the interaction but about the fact that there was interaction that went above and beyond the basic); affability (Affability relates to whether I liked the merchant or not - it is subjective and may be determined through roleplay); speed of work (Speed of work reflects how quickly the merchant dealt with queues. It does not reflect the greater 1-2-1 personalised service that may have resulted in longer waiting time for customers.); fun (Fun relates to the extent that the merchant made the whole experience as interesting and enjoyable as the end product). This is based on my contact with the merchant. Others may have had different experiences.
