FINAL ALTERATIONS - 30th of Phoenatos

The hoarse voice of an old woman rattles on the wind around you. "I'm working for a bit on pretty much any of your items in Elanthian Starlight." The voice fades with a breathy cackle.

[Eastern Harbor, Cormorant Lane]
You also see a round celestial blue pavilion

>go pav
[Elanthian Starlight]
Dark as midnight, the only light that permeates this cloaked room comes from the tent's domed ceiling, which has been intricately stitched with glowing white thread to resemble Elanthia's night sky, complete with constellations and moons. Near one opaque tent wall, a large antique brass telescope stands beside an expansive chart table, while an intricately carved mistwood armoire rests near the entry. A jewelry cabinet stands beside the center tent pole, its contents glimmering faintly in the ambient light from the stars. You also see a raffle table with some stuff on it.
Also here: Lady Kyaloria, Desire, Naitalya, Sir Aydan, Shannivar, Laeser, Marionetta, Cimmorina, Fleurs, Ravashaak, Lord Psycat, Darqwolf, Lady Orpius, Lady Gweniveer who is sitting, Granny Ezmerilla

Ezmerilla mutters under her breath.

Ezmerilla exclaims, "Don't break anything!"

Ezmerilla exclaims, "Rapscallions!"

Ezmerilla picks up a gear-laden greasy doodad.

Ezmerilla asks, "Don't you all have somewhere better to be?"

Ezmerilla folds her arms over her chest.

Ezmerilla exclaims, "Don't eat my cookies!"

Ezmerilla exclaims, "I ain't sharing!"

Ezmerilla says, "I'm going to spin for ten people. I'll work on pretty much anything so long as it won't stab my pretty hands."

Ezmerilla says, "Which is not to say I don't work on weapons, just... nothing too fancy."

Ezmerilla says, "I don't do features or tattoos. You people smell and I don't want to touch you."

Ezmerilla sticks out her tongue.

>l ezme

You see Granny Ezmerilla.
She appears to be a Forest Gnome.
She is diminutive and appears to have one foot in the grave. She has bleary walnut-brown eyes and pale skin.
She has chin length, lank steel grey hair with random bald patches. She has a wrinkled face and stooped shoulders.
She is in good shape.
She is holding a convoluted steel gizmo in her right hand.
She is wearing a floppy yellow straw hat, a crocheted pink wool musette with a variety of colored buttons, a multi-colored loose silk robe, and a pair of dirty silk slippers with holes in the toes.

Ezmerilla spins her steel gizmo.
The steel gizmo comes to a stop pointing directly at Gweniveer!Taverynn! Khiya! Sordra! Kateerina! Laeser! Desire! Vilorcasdra! Bremerial!
The steel gizmo comes to a stop pointing directly at Ravashaak!

Ezmerilla recovers the steel gizmo and says, "Congratulations, all!"

Ezmerilla says, "Everyone else, get out. You smell."

Ezmerilla folds her arms over her chest.

Silima asks, "Will you be spinning for anymore tonight, madam?"

Ezmerilla looks over at Silima and shakes her head.

Speaking to Laeser, Ezmerilla says, "You remind me of my tenth husband. Rest his soul."

Ezmerilla squints at Laeser.

Fremie asks, "Tenth husband?"

Speaking quietly to Ezmerilla, Laeser asks, "Did you wear him out?"

Fremie points at Ezmerilla.
Ezmerilla splutters.

Ezmerilla exclaims, "Germs!!"

After eight other alterations....

Ezmerilla whispers, "You're up."

Ezmerilla turns to face you.

Ezmerilla has accepted your offer and is now holding a silver-strung onyx banded cameo.

You quietly whisper to Ezmerilla, "Hemp-strung mud-caked cameo riddled with miniscule indentations."

Ezmerilla taps a hemp-strung mud-caked cameo riddled with miniscule indentations, which is in her left hand.

Speaking softly to Ezmerilla, you exclaim, "Oh my - just as i'd envisioned it!"

You accept Ezmerilla's offer and are now holding a hemp-strung mud-caked cameo riddled with miniscule indentations.

Greatful for the work done, I walked into the East Harbor.

A crier rushes past, his voice loud and clear as he delivers his message. "The Poison Dagger Raffle has been set up in the Raffle Tent on Mist Harbor." Continuing on, the crier repeats his message further away.

>buy ticket
You hand 10000 silvers over, take your ticket, write your name on it then drop it in the raffle barrel.

A slurred voice announces, "Ledirth is in the Scuttlebug Tavern and will be locking the doors shortly. He'll determine what he will be doing based on the size of the crowd.

>go tav
[Scuttlebug Tavern]
Ledirth says, "I stamped a lot of people."

Ledirth exclaims, "We're closed up!"

Ledirth says, "Don't leave."

[Scuttlebug Tavern]
Rough oak planks spread from the entry at one end of the room to the dinghy-shaped bar that is surrounded by stools at the other, their slender surfaces riddled with large and small knots. High above, a chandelier housing dozens of candles provides ample illumination for each of the various tables that are scattered throughout, while also illuminating the various signs that hang from the rafters. A rickety staircase leads to the upstairs and connects with a balcony that encircles half of the tavern. You also see the Malrocky disk, the fiery red Fleurs disk, the Naitalya disk and the Amadicias disk.
Also here: Malrocky, Jhernish, Sacru, Livn, Noriyaki, Kizalia, Aubriella, Fleurs, Naitalya, Ascaris, Aneris, Lyaer, Nayolan who is sitting, Lord Reddic, Ariyanaa, Lady Ravenmyth, Zuzana, Vilkea, Sir Aydan, Niadja, Faulkil who is sitting, Isela, Amadicias, Ausek, Oded, Cicera, Kemstone, Tabrina, Cutley who is sitting, Wallbeard, Lady Sharman, Shannivar who is sitting, Adalle, Zoler, Katry, Isolyn, Ledirth
Obvious exits: out

Ledirth says, "Let's see... 37 of you."

Ledirth asks, "Who wants what?"

Ledirth nods.

Ledirth says, "Each person in here can choose from a single of the following: Makin' something lighter, adding deeper pockets to something with pockets, transporter magic, or I'll change how something looks for you (no SHOWY details!)."

Ledirth says, "And of course, no gowns."

Ledirth says, "Or anything girly."

Ledirth says, "Hopefully I don't hate myself in the morning..."

Ledirth put a large modwir-handled stamp in his oilcloth pouch.

[Ledirth begins working the room like a whirlwind!]

Ledirth grins.
Ledirth points at you!
Ledirth has accepted your offer and is now holding a platinum-strung silver vial studded with emeralds.

You quietly whisper to Ledirth, "An old leaking vial glistening with translucent globules."

Ledirth gazes thoughtfully at his emerald vial.

{Whilst Ledirth is working, notification is received of the cancellation of the long awaited drinking competition..}}

Tromping past and making an unearthly racket, Tilda the barkeep of the Portable Waterhole starts to yell rather loudly. "That no good kid of mine, Zifku, started the contest without you people. As a result, she's drunk under the table already! I'd say she's sorry, but she's such a lout that I doubt its true! Once she's sober, she'll be planning a new contest or so help me I will beat her with a wooden spoon from the kitchen!" Grumbling loudly, Tilda tromps off.

My heart sank. I had been looking forward to this competition which was to be the culmination of a great event.

(OOC) Ledirth's player whispers, "Globules on the surface would get wiped off with any handling."

(OOC) You quietly whisper to Ledirth, "Make light scratches."

(OOC) Ledirth's player whispers, "Could I instead offer some lovely cracked glass, and a makeshift old cork?"

Ledirth grins at you.
You grin at Ledirth.

{Was I dreaming? Was ledirth being nice to me? Damn. Just when I thought i'd got him figured out at a taciturn, contankerous sould, he turned out to be helpful.}

You quietly whisper to Ledirth, "Cork is good."

Ledirth shows you a cracked and aged glass vial stoppered with a decayed cork, which he is holding in his right hand.
You grin at Ledirth.

Speaking to you, Ledirth exclaims, "Finest quality available!"

You turn to Ledirth and cheer!
You accept Ledirth's offer and are now holding a cracked and aged glass vial stoppered with a decayed cork.

Ledirth says, "If it breaks, I blame you."

You turn towards Ledirth and render a sharp salute with your aged glass vial.

You softly say, "I was about to say the same."

You hang a cracked and aged glass vial stoppered with a decayed cork around your neck.

I walked back to the Eastern harbor and spent a short period of time buying items from stores. I spoke briefly to Fleurs and then waved goodbye to the festival...
