personal - GemStone IV interview with CRYHEART

Interview with Cryheart Thaxin

Interview held on Tilamaires, day 29 of the month Eorgaen in the year 5109.

QUESTIONS

1: What is your name (required) and training level (not essential)

I am Cryheart Thaxin and I have met with my trainer, 100 times..

2: How long have you wandered the lands?

For eons it seems, before the Dragonspine was crossed by western Elanthians.

3: What hunting style do you opt for?

Depends on the foe, but generally I use two handed weapons now and stand before my foe. I have forged my own bonded weapon, a flail. I am currently attempting to forge a 'perfect' greataxe..

4: What percentage of your time do you spend hunting? How do you spend your other time?.

In general, I spend half my time patrolling the Landing area, and the other half hunting in the Rift or Temple of Nelemar.

(5): What is and/or was your most enjoyable hunting area and why?

Darkstone Castle was one of my favorites due to having to rely only on my skills and not magics as they were stripped by the area. Now, in my elder days, I enjoy the Rift where there be plenty of living and undead with the ever so present dangerous atmosphere.

6: What do you enjoy most about your time in the lands?

I really enjoy protecting the Landing and Solhaven areas from the evilness that sprouts ever so often and winking at the fair, grand ladies.

7: Is there anyone within the lands that you admire? (Any profession) Who and why?

There be way too many from the past and present to list them all. I have stood alongside many great ones in the past and present to help defend the towns.

8: What has been your best moment in the lands so far?

Being knighted by Earl Jovery of Hendor, the Northern Sentinel during the time of the Jantalarian and Vornavian war was one of those moments. The other was being tasked, during a scheduled court, by Baron Malwind of Vornavia, to court his daughter, the Lady Athalia, to test my courtship manners and skills as a potential knight.

9: What has been your worst moment in the lands so far?

My worst moment occurred when I shattered my first falchion, when I blessed it after it had been cursed..

10: What advice would you give to a new warrior?

Train in physical fitness, and learn all guild skills. Also, serve with honor, by example and by deed.

11: If you had to do it all again, knowing what you now know, would you do anything differently?

Nothing I can think of at this moment.

12: Is there anything you want to add to this interview?

May the Empire be prosperous! May all citizens prosper!
