[Cobblestone Path, Vineyard Gate] A three-foot high rock wall lines the outskirts of the vineyard as far as the eye can see. Surrounding the wall on either side is a myriad of brilliantly-hued wildflowers of all species, blanketed upon a field of wheat. At the end of the cobblestone path a small wooden gate carved with a grape cluster leads into the vineyard. You also see an ember-eyed fire wyrdling, a golden-eyed cinereous grey fox and a vine-carved wine cask. Obvious paths: southwest Lady Ilsola's group just went through a gate. [Mist Harbor, Vineyard] Trellises laden with verdant grapevines stretch outward from the gate in a roughly triangular shape towards the distant cliffs. Tufts of pale yellow grass, surrounded by darker, moist grasses, rise beneath each of the vines and lift their blade-like ends towards the plump purple grapes that ripen in the sun. You also see a ruffled pelican that is flying around. Obvious paths: northeast, northwest Ilsola says, "As you know, the Empath Guild is to the northeast." Ilsola says, "Today, we shall be traveling to the northwest." Lady Ilsola's group just went northwest. Lady Ilsola's group just entered a towering stone-faced building. [Foyer] Expansive, rigidly perpendicular, and made of creamy white limestone, the entryway hints at quiet meditation and cool contemplation farther to the interior. A double staircase, its steps centered between the three arches leading to the rest of the building, joins to itself in a landing R immed with a golden baluster to the front. Two wide, carved doors of white pine leading to the outside have been limned with golden paint to pick out the details. Obvious exits: none Ilsola says, "As you can see, we are in a central foyer." Ilsola says, "We will start with the western arch and make our way around." Lady Ilsola's group just went through a high western arch. [Western Corridor] Limestone walls and columns support a barrel-vaulted roof of fossil-encrusted blocks. Between the columns, glass-paned large windows line the western walls and provide a view of the well-manicured grounds, while woven reed prayer mats placed before marble-framed alcoves offer quiet places for contemplation. Obvious exits: southeast, northwest Ilsola says, "The windows give a good view of the surrounding grounds." Ilsola says, "And the alcoves house statues in them." Ilsola says, "There are also prayer mats...." Ilsola gently lowers herself upon the prayer mat. Ilsola stands up. Closing her eyes, Seomanthe lowers her forehead to a statue of Imaera in a reverent gesture. Ilsola says, "If any of you are close to those dieties represented here, you may find comfort." Lady Ilsola's group just went northwest. [Western Corridor] Glass-paned large windows stand between limestone pillars pockmarked with the images of past sealife. Painted designs depict the image of well-tended vineyards, each Artfully rendered to appear as if they are encroaching on the corridor, some even offer glimpses of globes of perfect near-ripe fruit under serrated leaves. Tiles set into the ground amid the cobblestones are painted with grape clusters along the western wall, while opposite are woven reed prayer mats set before marble-framed alcoves. Obvious exits: southeast, northwest Ilsola says, "There are more alcoves here." Ilsola says, "But also some interesting aquatic designs." J>l win Rolling lawns and fruit-laden vines are easily seen through the circular panes of the tall windows. Pale green and bright purple grapes decorate the vines amid serrated leaves of dark green. Here and there, brave birds have created a nest that is decorated with wild flowers and bits of ribbon. J>l alc Positioned between each window along the length of the corridor, the alcoves are framed in white marble and recessed into the stone wall. Set before each alcove, woven reed prayer mats are positioned along the cobblestone flooring and offer a small sanctum in which to meditate. Looking at the alcoves, you see that each holds a single statue: a statue of Jaston, a statue of Kuon, a statue of Laethe, a statue of Leya, a statue of Niima, a statue of Tilamaire, and a statue of Voln. J>l stat The small statue is formed from the highest quality material. It is strikingly crafted in fine, superb detail. The statue seems to represent a supernatural entity of great power, possibly a god. Ilsola says, "Oh, yes, that reminds me...." J>l mat Bound with simple linen strips, the prayer mat is fashioned of thin reeds and woven with blades of river grasses. Faint depressions in the center are testament to its repeated use. J>l stat The small statue is formed from the highest quality material. It is strikingly crafted in fine, superb detail. The statue seems to represent a supernatural entity of great power, possibly a god. (OOC) Ilsola's player whispers to the group, "If you guys change up your demeanor, you can make different images." Ilsola whispers to the group, "It is exhale window." Bringing her face close to the glass, Maelira exhales upon the smooth surface and creates a bit of fog on the window. Ilsola whispers to the group, "The windows utitlize exhale, lean, and tickle." J>lean win You press your forehead against the glass panes of the window. J>exhale wind Bringing your face close to the glass, you exhale upon the smooth surface and create a bit of fog on the window. With one finger you draw a rose-inset heart. After several moments, the image fades away. J>tickle wind You lazily trace your fingers against the glass panes of the window. Ilsola says, "All the windows act such a way." Lady Ilsola's group just went northwest. [Western Refectory] Stained glass windows and a matching dome dominate this space. The blocks of limestone for the floor here have been picked for their imprints of ancient flora, forever entombed in stone. Each window in the walls depicts a field; one is strewn with wildflowers, another is an orchard with trees bearing fruit. The dome depicts gentle curves and whorls in myriad shades of blue centered on the portrait of a gentle-looking man with long, curly brown hair. Ilsola says, "Here we have the training nexus, so to speak." Ilsola says, "All the alchemical work rooms branch from here." Lady Ilsola's group just went southeast. Two wide, carved doors of white pine leading to the outside have been limned with golden paint to pick out the details. Obvious exits: none Ilsola says, "We'll head up this corridor now..." Ilsola points at a high central arch. Lady Ilsola's group just went through a high central arch. [Northern Corridor] Columns of aged limestone sparkle in the sunlight, while window between them provide views of the many grape arbors between the wings of the guild. Tiles painted with feathers and crescent moons alternate with those of natural limestone on the floor, providing small rings of decoration around a pair of marble-framed alcoves. Two small marble benches, each set on either side of a door, are topped with wide pillows that provide a quiet place for meditation. Obvious exits: north, south Ilsola says, "There is a bench here, as well as mats for resting." J>sit ben You settle yourself on the small marble bench for a moment's rest. sJ>stand You stand back up. Lady Ilsola's group just went north. [Northern Corridor] Out of place in the line of limestone columns, a small rectangular area houses a plastered window that completely obstructs the panoramic views that many of the other windows in the corridor have. Set within the whitewashed anomaly, a simple pine door is fitted with rose-hued hinges and knob. Upon the opposite wall, a pair of woven mats rest before twin alcoves that are framed in marble. You also see Training Administrator Suresha. Obvious exits: north, south Ilsola points at a simple pine door. Ilsola says, "That is the storage closet." Lady Ilsola's group just went north. [Northern Refectory] Murals of beautiful white horses fill the walls between the entrances to other rooms. Above, a stained glass scene depicts an old shaggy-haired man with wings on his back, his feet surrounded by the dark, purplish-grey and green-tinged hues of a storming sea. Plain white tiles underfoot have been painted with fanciful conch shells of various sizes. You also see some large training cauldrons. Obvious exits: south Ilsola says, "Ah, yes, cauldrons." Lady Ilsola's group just went south. Lady Ilsola's group just went south. Lady Ilsola's group just went south. Ilsola says, "And to the eastern corridor." Lady Ilsola's group just went through a high eastern arch. [Eastern Corridor] Marching from the lobby to the end of the hallway, fossil-pocked limestone columns provide a framework for the panoramic windows and barrel-vaulted ceiling. Marble-framed alcoves, each filled with a statue, rise within the bones of the corridor and have woven reed prayer mats positioned before them, which promotes silent contemplation. Obvious exits: northeast, southwest Ilsola says, "Guild administers to all walks." Ilsola says, "But I will move swiftly." Lady Ilsola's group just went northeast. [Eastern Corridor] Small and large cobbles stretch across the ground, their faces smooth and their sounds evenly rounded for a perfect fit. Large windows of stained glass dominate the northern walls, while the southern ones are filled with marble-framed alcoves. A line of woven reed prayer mats, each neatly positioned beneath an alcove, marches down the hall in both directions. Obvious exits: northeast, southwest Lady Ilsola's group just went northeast. [Eastern Reflectory] Nearly round, the end of the corridor is framed in fountains pouring water into small bowls below. The bowls drain quickly, creating continuous whirlpools within their embrace. Above, a stained glass dome depicts a typhoon's might, with water feeding it from an enormous earthen jug held by a scowling, winged man. Despite the forboding atmosphere, several scholars mill around on the grey marble floor. You also see Master Hierophant Tinashe, Master Hierophant Harisha, Master Spiritualist Saiffullah, Master Hierophant Chika and Master Hierophant Anso. Obvious exits: southwest Ilsola says, "Here we have the trainers." Lady Ilsola's group just went southwest. Lady Ilsola's group just went southwest. Lady Ilsola's group just went southwest. Two wide, carved doors of white pine leading to the outside have been limned with golden paint to pick out the details. Ilsola says, "Now.. just upstairs..." Lady Ilsola's group just climbed up a double staircase. [Landing] Only wide enough for two or three people to pass each other uncomfortably, the landing gives a view of the magnificent foyer below. A few small icons hang on the wall to each side of the door set in the middle of the wall. Carpeting covers the floor, its plush pile dyed a pale eggshell color. You also see a double staircase. Obvious exits: northeast Lady Ilsola's group just went northeast. [Master's Office] Pristine in its simplicity, a golden oak desk sits in the middle of this somewhat spacious office. To one side, an arched window looks into a large shrine, while the other side is taken up by a bank of files. Behind the desk, a simple wooden chair and a cat bed are visible. You also see Guild Master Halenezo. Obvious exits: southwest Halenezo bows slightly to you. "Guild Master Halenezo," she says, "at your service. If you need anything of me, just ASK." J>l hale You see a fairly typical Master Halenezo. It appears to be in good shape. It has nothing at this time. Speaking to Guild Master Halenezo, you say, "This will probably be the last time we meet." J>wink hale You wink at Guild Master Halenezo. Ilsola grins at you. Ilsola says, "That window... provides a glance at a public area." J>peer win You gaze through the arched window and see... [Cleric's Guild, Shrine] Large and round, the shrine is built at the top of a tower and surrounded by an alternating pattern of limestone pillars and arching windows. Rising from the heart of the room is the sculpted image of a blooming tree that houses a resplendent statue of Jaston. Encircling the arboreal structure is a low altar that is pockmarked with bird's nests. Dozens of birds have made this place their home, their soft song filling the air. You also see a carved limestone staircase. Obvious exits: none Lady Ilsola's group just went southwest. Obvious exits: none Lady Ilsola's group just went through a set of white pine doors. [Mist Harbor, Vineyard] Verdant foliage tumbles across the short wall of the vineyard, its lush tendrils seeking purchase in the dirt and stone that line the pathway. Here and there, dragonflies flicker in and out of deep shadows cast by the large stone-faced building that towers over the area. A blue and red-paned lantern hangs lightless to one side above an ornate bronze plaque. You also see a half-elven guard. Obvious paths: southeast, southwest Ilsola nods. J>read pla By order of the Elanthian Guilds Council, this information must be posted for public perusal: The following freelance Guild Masters have registered themselves as active in this guild chapter: There are no Guild Masters registered in this town. Ilsola says, "Now, if you continue around the side of the guild..." Lady Ilsola's group just went southwest. [Mist Harbor, Vineyard] Hugging the guild's walls, the path winds its way through a veritable a cornucopia of tropical blossoms. Bright blossoms of blue and green mingle with their red and orange brethren, while complicated vines of flaeshorn berries tumble across the cinnamon bark-covered ground. Strong fragrances fill the air and carry with them heady notes accented by a light sweetness. Obvious paths: northeast, northwest Ilsola says, "They've cultivated several plants here..." J>take ber You pluck a golden flaeshorn berry from the vine that twines about the tropical blossoms that decorate the edge of the pathway. J>eat my ber You take a bite of your flaeshorn berry. That was the last of it! Lady Ilsola's group just went northwest. [Vineyard, An Arbor-roofed Shop] Thick vines of white and purple grapes wind their way through a wooden arbor, their knotted limbs form a tight weave that is laden with broad leaves. Sheltered within the arbor, and protected from both the weather and the heat of the day, is a small open-air shop. Long counters topped with green and purple oilcloth line the back of the shop, while the front is dotted with small baskets. Obvious paths: southeast, northwest Ilsola says, "Ah yes..." Ilsola says, "I'm told if you become friendly enough, there are treats here to find." Ilsola brushes her fingers lightly against a delicate sea glass chime. J>order Welcome to Cleric Guild Shop! Ilsola says, "Once we get to the top, though, I would ask that you all give me a moment to show you something before you begin... playing." Ilsola grins. J>climb stair You slowly climb to the top of the stairs and gently part the the mesh screen at the top before stepping through. Also here: Annorax, Lord Zzentar Obvious exits: none Ilsola parts the mesh screen at the top of the stairs and slowly steps through. Ilsola says, "As you can see...." J>look at tree Crafted from the pale blonde wood of a mistwood, the tree is wrought in the image of a great Elanthian ironwood. Thick limbs reach for the crystalline dome above and display a profusion of leaves decorated with inlays of mint green moth saewhenaes. Sea glass disks create the brilliant red fruit of the tree, while vibrant hummingbird saewehnaes create the bodies of tiny bird statues. Live birds mingle with the artistic pieces, and flit to and from the ornate boughs. J>look at birds Several varieties of small birds mingle in the branches of the tree. Upon some of the higher branches the more lyrical emerald green songbirds shares space with the equally as vocal greyish brown mockingbird, while some of the lower branches hold black-browed barbets and mustachioed antpittas. Flitting back and forth, both the blue-crowned motmots and the red-whiskered bulbuls refuse to alight for long upon the tree's limbs and soar through the air between the various bird houses, the pock-marked altar, and the branches carved into the limestone pillars. You say, "Oh wow." J>look at songbird Lorso parts the mesh screen at the top of the stairs and slowly steps through. Delicate and small, the bird is an adorable specimen of the songbird variety. Emerald green feathers decorate its tiny frame, while rosy hues darken its cheeks. Tail feathers of sapphire blue decorate its tail, which twitches at the slightest of sounds. Chirping upon occasion, the songbird is only one of the many birds that reside in the shrine. J>look at house Clearly made by man and not by bird, the small dwelling is fashioned of river reeds woven into an orb-like structure. Bits of colorful ribbon and string are added to the piece giving it a bright, cheery look and a reinforced hole in the center provides a spacious egress for tiny birds. J>look at mockingbird Sporting a belly of white, the fragile little mockingbird holds its head up high and eyes its surroundings. Thick rings cause its eyes to stand out from the uniform grey of its body, while white tertiary feathers give the image that the details of its body are outlined in niveous hues. Dusty brown secondary feathers blend with the grey to create an almost camouflaged appearance, while its deep ebon beak appears to be painted with a smile. J>look at antpitta White stripes decorate the cheekbones of the delicate bird, giving it its mustachioed appearance. Dark rufescent-brown feathers crown its round, acorn-shaped head and trail down its spine and transition in hue to a warm, cinnamon hue. The long white legs of the bird are a startling contrast to the rest of its body, while the elongated beak is complimented by the slate grey crown and nape. J>look at barbet Round and plump, the barbet has a brown covered with downy black feathers. Tiny eye rings of white cause the avian's inky black eyes to stand out amid all the darkness of its head feathers; however, the body of the bird is a complete contrast to the head. Bright red and umber feathers mingle across the breast to give it a vibrant plumage that is echoed in the cream-hued underside of the wings and legs of the bird. J>look at bulbul Playful and light, a zephyr swirls up the height of the statue of Jaston. Feathers rise from where they litter the ground into a small vortex in the air. After several seconds, the wind disappears completely, and the feathers fall to the cobblestone floor. Barely the size of a child's hand, the bulbul has a whitish underbelly that is complimented by its brown upper body. Buff-hued sides are cut into at the neck area were a dark spur of brown bisects them, while their thin legs are scaled ebon. Bright red feathers decorate its cheeks above a creamy neck, while a pointed crest of black gives it a hat-topped appearance. Trailing down from its slightly hooked beak is a delicate mustache line that disappears into its neck plumage. Ilsola says, "Okay, so these are the things I wanted to show you..." Ilsola says, "First..." Ilsola says, "This altar is very functional." J>l on alt On the encircling altar you see a polished wooden bowl. J>look in bowl In the wooden bowl you see a pile of birdseed. Ilsola says, "The windows and pillars reflect the day and evening light very nicely." J>l win Framed by limestone pillars, the window is an arching portal to the outside world. Ultra fine mesh is spreads across the open expanse to allow the air to freely flow through the room, while also preventing the avians housed within from escaping. Sunlight filters through the mesh in slanting rays that provide ample illumination for pilgrims as they visit the shrine. J>l pil Rising from the cobblestone floor, the pillar is one of many that supports the crystalline dome that is the ceiling. Golden sunlight spills across the ornate carvings of the limestone, which reveals itself in the warm sunlight to be a multitude of crooked tree limbs. Bits of string dangling sea glass shards at various lengths along the upper branches, while the lower, thicker branches hold various bird houses fashioned into tiny round baskets. J>look at dome Golden sunlight trickles through the crystalline panes of the dome above, its fragile light refracted by the prismatic structure. Ilsola says, "The tree, has many birds nested within it." Ilsola says, "As does the altar." Ilsola says, "Each of the birds are delicate local species." Playful and light, a zephyr swirls up the height of the statue of Jaston. Feathers rise from where they litter the ground into a small vortex in the air. After several seconds, the wind disappears completely, and the feathers fall to the cobblestone floor. Ilsola says, "In other words, there is alot to see here." Ilsola says, "Now..." Ilsola says, "Upon the altar there is a bowl...." J>touch bow You reach out and touch a polished wooden bowl on a low and encircling altar. Shannivar scoops a handful of birdseed from the bowl and then casts it across the stone floor of the shrine. Several songbirds flutter down from their perch upon a nearby bough, their cheeks bright red against their emerald plumage. Delicate, musical notes cascade from their white-hued throats as they nibble at the scattered seeds. After several seconds, the birds rise from their snack and return to their perch. Ilsola says, "We plan to add several of these bowls throughout the island, since there are so very many different kinds of birds that visit the various sides." This is birdseed. It is a mixture of various kinds of seeds for feeding... birds. In this area, it feeds green songbirds. If you try to change this, then you will deprive the green songbirds of their food. Are you that cruel? J>take sae You pick up a silvery mint green moth saewehna. J>put sae on alt You set your green moth saewehna on the altar, and it disappears in a flash of flickering azure light. ************************** MEMOLE PROPOSES Speaking to Ilsola, Memnole asks, "Ilsola?" Kwithi accepts Memnole's engagement ring. Memnole quietly adds, "Please." Zzentar grins. Mohrgan holds his breath. Zzentar applauds. Kwithi says, "Memnole..." Taebaek leans back. Agec whistles tunelessly to himself. Annorax glances between Memnole and Kwithi. Memnole holds his breath as he gazes up at Kwithi. Annorax gazes heavenward. Annorax closes his eyes for a moment. Kwithi says, "I accept you with all my heart. The rains drove me to you and the sun brought you back with me." Seomanthe's face lights up with joy. Shannivar lets out a little squeal of delight.
